Daylight hurries to leave the city
The city quenches it's third with shadows
And eventually shadows it's true face
The piles of wather are shimmering like ice
A silver lining is glistening at the horizon
Evening changes dew to frost
The paleness glistening on our cheeks
Make us look as beautiful as angels
They should get down on their knees
And pray that the moon will remain hidden behind clouds

Morning changes frost to dew
Daylight makes everything look crude and harsh
We robe ourselves in masks of sadness
But once daylight fades our time will come
