When the early morning dawns
All the earth and all the seas
All of nature sings to Thee
Almighty God be praised

As for man who is endlessly
Showered with Thy bounty
Whom Thou created and delivered
How could he fail to worship Thee

Barely do I rub my eyes
That I call to my Lord
To my God in heaven
And search for him around me

Many have found death in sleep
Who yesterday laid down to rest
We however awoke again
So as to praise Thee God
