On the 5th day of May,
Assembled here the voyagers,
In the lands where it all began.
And the ship sailed out,
I noticed her face among the crowd,
Sweetest sight ever seen.
And the nights followed days,
And the storytellers say,
That their souls stand brave inside.
For so many lovely days,
Sailed across the misty seas,
Ne'er looked back never feared never cried.

Don't you hear my call?
Though you're many miles away.

I write my letters in the sand,
For the day I'll take your hand,
In the land that we never really knew!


On the 30th day of May
A single ship came from the blue,
Voyagers came home that day.
And they brought memories,
From the world so they explored,
Though their hearts were heavy weighted.
Now my life is torn and grey,
'Cause you're always far away,
I'm in love and that's hard for me!
Though so many years have gone,
Nothin' changed through all these years,
Many tears from my eyes fall for you.
