Tekst piosenki
I wake up to a ceiling that’s drifting far away,
The light cuts like a needle, sewing shut the day.
I try to push the sheets, but my hands are made of lead,
A map of foreign wires is tangling up my bed.
Where is the floor? Why is the air so thick and cold?
I’m a ghost in this gown, with a story left untold.
I swing my feet over the edge, searching for a stand,
But my legs are only shadows, slipping through my hand.
My knees buckle under me, the tiles are a frozen sea,
I’m a stranger to the bones that used to carry me.
What happened to the world? I’ve broken into two.
In the family of things, where even the weak belong...
Will my legs ever remember the way back home?
Or am I just a bird made of glass and chrome?
