God is being born, the power cowers,
Bare Lord of the heavens.
The fire solidifies, the glare darkens,
The infinite has boundaries.
Disgraced, covered with glory,
Mortal King of the centuries;

And the Word became the flesh

What do you have, the heaven above the earthlings?
God abandoned his happiness,
Walked among the beloved folks,
Sharing hardships and toils with them;
He suffered not a little, not a few,
That we were guilty ourselves,

He was born in a miserable stable,
Manger was his cradle,
What was he surrounded with?
Cattle, shepherds and hay.
The poor, it happened to you
To greet Him before the wealthy,

Then the Kings were seen
Crowding through the simple people,
Carrying gifts in tribute for the Lord:
Myrrh, frankincense and gold;
The deity mixed it together
