She still remembers ,
The times when there was no metro here.
As she traveled along one of the hundred underground roads
Nothing remains of the house,
When all of Warsaw shook.
On her street, instead of friends, an enemy awaited.
An ordinary girl, just like me,
And yet as brave and swift as the wind.
With her registration papers in hand, she had to be on time.

In Warsaw, the sounds of sirens,
suddenly the crowd comes to a standstill.
Stop for a moment,
Remember those who fought here
Mid-summer in the heart of the city
which beats stronger once again.
Don’t ask for the time,
It’s the Hour W
Uuuuuuuuu

Even though he was small,
he still remembers those days of glory well.
Older friends,
Each of them was a hero.
On an uncertain path to them,
bravely he wandered with a heavy backpack.
I would like to ask him where he found so much strength.
An ordinary boy, like you and me,
had to grow up in 63 days.
He wasn’t afraid of the night,
he dreamed of freedom.
