Don't Look Down - Trust Is A Word

how can I explain this
SO YOU KNOW
that I was never honest
did it ever show?
i'm a master of disguise
do I burn you up?
or tear you down?
either way I shut you out
so LET IT GO
without a sound
one way trip you're headed down
how can I explain this so it hurts?
I did my best to love you (lie)
but it never worked
have I BLED this moment dry?
used to be something so special (you)
used to be something that made me ME
no i'm not sure who I am anymore
no i'm not sure (is that wrong?)
