Donnie Klang - Beautiful Escape

I met her on a Sunday, she was so pretty.
Seemed like the type I could fall for quickly.
I played my guitar, she want to come get me.
A walk in the park, a stroll through the country.
Then the rain starts pouring down, I hear the sound of the ocean.
With every drop that hits the ground (Ooh)
You're my beautiful escape, when I'm lost, you're the way.
If I wanna leave without a trace, you're my beautiful escape.
I know I can't stop the rain, its still such a beautiful day.
And I will never be the same after what I'm feeling right now.
After the clouds clear away, this moment will always stay.
You're my beautiful escape, my beautiful escape.
You're my beautiful escape, when I'm lost, you're the way.
If I wanna leave without a trace, you're my beautiful escape.
My back's on the grass, I'm looking at the sky.
Wondering what it would be like if I could fly.
We could go above the clouds where it doesn't rain.
But since I can't, all I can do is wait.

You're my beautiful escape, my beautiful escape.
I can never get sick of this, I can never try to get rid of this (No)
I just go to the place in my mind where I can find two of us alone.
And we're so far gone, I know we'll only around back.
Theres no one around us cause you're my only focus.
Girl you're my beautiful escape.
