Greg Brown - I must be in Oregon

Let me make it clear It rains in Seattle more than it does here We have lots of fun Raising bananas one by one I must be, I must be in Oregon. The sky is hanging low As a clothesline full of clothes As your hair all full of rain As my heart sometimes does I must be, oh I must be in Oregon. My life, it got too wilddown the hole I followed Alice When I needed peace and quiet Well, I popped up in Corvallis I must be, I must be in Oregon. If you want a little snow Up to Mount Hood you can go My baby blows me away In lingerie and Pendleton I must be, I must be in Oregon.Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain Rain, rain, rain, sun, rain Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain Rain, rain, rain, rain, sun I must be, I must be in Oregon.I'm gonna go up on the Umpqua Catch me a big old trout I'm gonna go up on the Umpqua And drag his bad ass trout ass out.Well just the other day My friend Jim stopped by to say His old Volvo didn't die It just completely rusted away I must be, I must be in Oregon.Ah, my baby loves me so Outside we never go We play Scrabble by the fire Make love 'til we expire I must, I must be in Oregon. There's rain down in the alleys Rain down in the street It was raining when we parted It'll rain next time we meet And I must, I must be in Oregon.I know I must be, I must be in Oregon.
