Kan Mikami - Lesson 4 Hometown

I cross the bridge all the time
How could I ever forget it?

I can see the cape every day
How could anyone block my view?

If you're suddenly in the dark
Rely on the light of the bonfire

If your weary body troubles you
Take your rest on a grass bed

Though there are few who follow it
Together we walked that thorny road

Oh, my town, my hometown!
How long has gone by since that day?
How many years are you telling me
Have passed by since that day?
