Michelle Poe - Not As Simple As That

The sun doesnt rise up
It never goes down
Thats just how it looks as the world spins around
Its hard to believe it
But sadly Im told
Some stars that I see now
Have died long ago
I guess some things are just not quite
Like they appear to be
I thought if I loved him, he'd love me back
But once more this world's not as simple as that

So many times in life we're fooled
By what we think we see
I thought if I loved him, that he'd love me back
But once more this world's not as simple as that

The sun doesnt rise up
It never goes down
Thats just how it looks as the world spins around
