One Dollar Short - Unsung Hero

You were the one that taught me how to tie my shoelace
You were there when i finished in 2nd place
You were always there for me
When i broke up with that special girl and my heart hurt

Did i ever tell you?
Your my unsung Hero
My guiding light
my best friend

You were there when i fell and shed a tear
You gave me strength to help confront my Fears
You were always there for me
You watched me grow and learn the boy become a man
Year after Year

Did i ever tell you?
Your my unsung Hero
My guiding light
my best friend

Everything i am
everything i own
I owe it all to you

Did you know that you`re my unsung Hero?
My guiding light
my best friend

Your my hero
