Threshold - Complex

We've still got a system we want you to use
So cover your faces we're lighting the fuse
We've got all the data we've stolen the facts
You're losing control so we're taking it back
Forget all the things that you've known all along
Our latest advisors can prove that they're wrong
And just when you think that you're getting ahead
We'll change our research to confuse you again

From all this information
We're meant to determine
Our final destination
When nothing is certain

So it's hard to trust our eyes
When the truth gets laced with lies
And it's hard to trust our hearts
When they're tainted by the past
You can’t believe in everything
One sounds as good as the next
You know that something's going on
But it's so complex

We'll cover it all you just need to relax
And marvel at our undeniable facts
We'll publish exhaustive reports as we go
Except for the parts that you're not meant to know
We'll mean what we say and we'll say what you do
With slogans to help you believe that it's true
And if you complain that it's not what we meant
We'll give them the opposite meaning again

From all this information
We're meant to establish
Our final destination
And suffer the damage

So it's hard to trust our eyes
When the truth gets laced with lies
And it's hard to trust our hearts
When they're tainted by the past
You can’t believe in everything
One sounds as good as the next
You know that something's going on
But it's so complex

And we'll redefine our context
From deep inside our complex
‘Cos something’s going on

From all this information
We're meant to determine
Our final destination
When nothing is certain

So it's hard to trust our eyes
When the truth gets laced with lies
And it's hard to trust our hearts
When they're tainted by the past
You can’t believe in everything
One sounds as good as the next
You know that something's going on
But it's so complex

We've still got a system we want you to use
So cover your faces we're lighting the fuse
We've got all the data we've stolen the facts
You're losing control so we're taking it back
We're going to decide how the world goes around
Patrolling the skies and controlling the ground
So here's to the power and the glory we found
So why do you think that it's so complex
